Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the Boy Scouts of America, is available to boys who are 11 but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship and personal fitness.

Generally speaking, troop 785 has 3 troop meetings a month, 1 parent meeting a month, and 1-2 weekend troop activities a month.  

Troop activities in the last year include:
  • Mt San Jacinto Backpacking
  • San Gabriel Mountains Backpacking
  • Canoeing on the Colorado River
  • Eagle Projects
  • Camporees
  • Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade
  • Day Hike
  • Medieval Times
  • Fish Fry
  • Broom Ball



 
Troop meetings are at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church
Usually every Wednesday
