Welcome to Pack 1054

About Pack 1054: Pack 1054 is an exciting opportunity for your son to join a group of scouts that learn to work together.  Boys from Grades 1 through 5 join Cub Scouts Dens from the same grade meet at least twice a month. The pack meets once a month to either present awards earned as a den go on an exciting activity. They can be camping, bowling, fishing or pinewood derby.

Service: Each scout will work on their rank with their Den, one requirement that is stressed is service to the community. This is done with Scouting for Food Drive. Last year we collected 2.5 tons of food, or Bennie school clean ups in the Spring. We pride ourselves in giving back. Last year we also sang Christmas carols at a senior home downriver. We participate in the Allen Park Light Christmas and Memorial day parade.

Advancement: All scouts work through their books for their age. Last year 100% of the boys that participated graduated to the next level. Our Den Leaders work with each scout no matter  what their skill level is and help their parent or guardian understand the program. This helps the boy succeed.

Trained Leadership: Each leader is Trained to the BSA National Standard. Training is done online for even the busiest parent and most importantly all leaders are trained in Youth Protection.

Meetings: Each Den meets twice a month and often uses a meeting for an outside activity to help complete an advancement. They get hands on learning with a great deal of fun as we like to say “Earn as they learn”.

Experience: Combined, our leaders have nearly 55 years of scouting tenure. Many of our leaders were scouts as a boy and continue their love of scouting to help the boys of the pack be good scouts.

Quality: Pack 1054 is proud to boast that it has received the Gold Award  for outstanding   operation in the Journey to Excellence  Quality Program for the years 2011 & 2012.
